Weaving with Metal Foil
Are you interested in working with metal, but don't have all of the tools for a small metals studio? Working with metal foil is easy and just requires a surface to weave on, scissors, and tape to fasten the metal 'warp' down in order to be steady to be woven across.

Plaited Pendant
Metal foil is an easy material to work with and has MANY potential applications! In this bonus workshop, you will learn how to make a small plaited pendant out of a 36 gauge metal foil. The form is plaited with the metal strips and turns 90 degrees after each repeat, stacking plaited squares on top of each other. The tools you will need are sharp scissors, a ruler, an awl (or sharp scribe tool), masking tape, and some super glue, one each of 9mm and 7mm jump rings, 2 pair of chain nose pliers, a bead for embellishment (if desired), and a chain for finishing. This workshop will introduce you to some basic skills of working with metal foil while producing a lovely pendant.
